WWE fans have taken to social media to point out the uncanny resemblance between one of the new Performance Centre recruits and ‘The Viper’ Randy Orton.
The newest batch of signings has been confirmed for the WWE Performance Center, with former Ring Of Honor Women’s World Champion Rok-C heading up the latest recruits. The intake also includes Bianca Carelli, the daughter of Santino Marella, who previously confirmed himself that his daughter had signed with the company.
However, one trainee has caught the eye of social media more than the others due to his resemblance to a younger version of 14-time World Champion Randy Orton.
He is 23-year-old David Bostian from Wilmington, North Carolina. According to WWE, the potential future star has been a folkstyle wrestler for 16 years while also training as a powerlifter.
Several users described Bostian as a “blonde Randy Orton“, while another said, “This is literally 2004 Randy Orton”. One user even joked that a future storyline could see him claiming that Orton is his father.

Meanwhile, the real Orton has just begun his second reign as a Raw Tag Team Champion alongside his RK-Bro partner Riddle. The duo regained the titles from Alpha Academy on the March 7th episode of Raw by overcoming both the former champions and the team of Seth Rollins and Kevin Owens.
After the match, Randy Orton made it clear that he was having the most fun he’s ever had in his career alongside Riddle, and even called Riddle his friend, something he says he’d not said in his twenty years in wrestling. He said that he has no friends besides Riddle, but that he’s excited that the two are going to WrestleMania 38 together.
