Sustainability continues to be a priority for Northwood Office, the owner and operator of the Ballantyne campus. Community-focused initiatives and operational enhancements earned Northwood the Environmental Protection Agency’s ENERGY STAR® 2021 Partner of the Year Award.
Resources, programs and activities:
- Enjoy Ballantyne’s walking trails and parks.
- Securely shred and recycle old documents at the Ballantyne Earth Day Event. Donate new or used electronics to Goodwill’s Dell Reconnect Program.
- Change your home’s lighting to save energy. Replace your five most frequently used light fixtures with ENERGY STAR Certified products.
- Join Catawba Lands Conservancy’s outdoor programs and explore its conservation initiatives.
- Shop sustainable products from Ekologicall.
- Volunteer with Charlotte-Mecklenburg Storm Water Services to clean up, mark or help maintain the region.
