CHARLOTTE, N.C. – The Bowl at Ballantyne will bring community, culture, and cuisine to the city!
The Bowl, Charlotte’s up-and-coming development is set to open in 2023. The urban district will give residents an epicurean feel, one of great food and drink, comfort, and simplicity.
Developers say The Bowl will be the living room, kitchen, and concert hall of Ballantyne. According to a release, the vision for The Bowl is to “close the gap between work and home.” The bowl is intended to offer new culinary experiences, first-class shopping, and healthy living.
The development will be heavily decorated with greenery, airy gardens, and covered sidewalks. Residents can stroll through garden lanes while shopping, and enjoy the foliage while dining in the indoor-outdoor spaces.
Prepare for non-stop fun because The Bowl is going to be a 24-hour walkable neighborhood. Northwood Investors, owners of the new location say they are focused on ” culture, food, community, and sustainability.”
Just when you thought it couldn’t get any better, The Bowl will also house the newest location for The Old Mecklenburg Brewery!
The Olde Mecklenburg Brewery is Charlotte’s oldest brewery. Founded in 2009, OMB has been serving the Queen City premium beer for about 14 years!
Residents in south Charlotte will no longer have to travel far to enjoy fresh beer. OMB will be an extension of The Bowl at Ballantyne,
Discussions of the new beer garden have been underway since 2016. After long preparation, The Olde Mecklenburg Brewery is set to launch along side the Bowl next year.
The new location will offer a space of almost 14,000 square feet and 7,000 square feet of a patio dining area. Similar to its original location in south Charlotte, the location will include a family-friendly environment with a family zone and play area nestled at one end of the beer garden.
